About MCP

The Madison Community Pool (MCP) is a private, community-focused, 501(c) non-profit organization established in 1968 by Madison residents as a summer spot for fun & recreation.

MCP membership includes access to our Main Pool, with six 25-meter lap lanes and water park slides, and our fenced-in Baby Pool & playground (for swimmers 5 years old and under).

Additionally, MCP offers a competitive swim team (the Barracudas), group swim lessons, and a summer camp program, as well as fun events.

The Madison Community Pool is overseen by a volunteer Board of Trustees and managed by pool staff. Members of the Board of Trustees volunteer their time to work year-round to address operations, capital improvements, pool management and membership.

We are grateful to our members for their continued support through membership year after year, and hope to remain an integral summer destination for years to come.

MCP Financials

Unlike other privately-run pools in the area, MCP is not subsidized by the Borough (i.e. we are not funded by local tax dollars). Your contributions, including your membership fees, go directly to MCP to operate and maintain the pool. Our general expenditures for 2022 and 2023 are shown in the pie charts below. Additionally, following the 2023 season, MCP incurred approximately $40,000 in repair and maintenance costs for the upcoming 2024 season.

If you are interested in providing financial support to MCP, please contact us.
